    Description

From a Tucson, Arizona collector's estate:
Vintage Mexican pottery candle holder. An elephant with two birds. Measures 4½ inches tall.
These fanciful figures are made in the village of Izucar de Matamoros in the state of Puebla. Most are made by the Castillo family.
No chips or cracks. There is a small "bite" on one side of the tail but it is under the glaze. There's a close-up; it's almost impossible to see.
Carefully packed shipping is .95 to U.S. addresses (lower 48 states only).
Please examine all of the photos carefully and ask any questions before bidding.
