    Description

Charming!! Offered is a vintage 1950’s Mexican Folk Art tin butler tray. Beautifully hand tooled tin over wood depicting a scene of a man peacefully sitting foreground in rolling hills looking down into a bucolic small mountain village. Wonderfully detailed with a large impressive thatched roof house in the foreground and two others in the distance. A high snow capped mountain peak is shadowed by a large fluffy cloud...a tall sharp leafed pine and a large shade tree hug and protect both of the distant houses.Cactus and yucca define the foregrounds rolling hills. Exceptionally nice and very rare to find an original tray stand ...I just love the strap material...great vintage!! Dimensions: Tray...25” x 17” x 1 1/2” deep. Butler tray...16 1/2” x 12” x 21”. In exceptional vintage condition..clean. Smoke/pet free. Thank you for looking!
