Handmade in Mexico, this Mexican folk art tin Milagros wood cross is one of a kind.
Hand carved from a single piece of wood.
Painted black with metallic gold bronze ogee edges.
On the front, the artist applied 11 silver tin miracle milagros and applied a gold wash to each milagro.
Milagros:  A traditional Mexican rose, an ear for listening, a car for safe travels, a man kneeling in prayer, a sacred heart, a book for learning, a stomach for gut intuitions or ailment, two vegetables for nourishment, lungs for fresh air or ailment and a welcoming hand.
Milagros are carried for good luck, left at saint's statues for prayers and hung in the home for miracle blessings.
