In the case of dismantled control units that are sent to us, the assembly costs are not part of our guarantee and cannot be reimbursed. If the control unit in question has been installed in-house for the customer, the guarantee also applies to removal and installation. Costs for inspections by external companies are not reimbursed. The guarantee for replacement devices only covers the assemblies / components specified in the invoice. The guarantee is limited to the defects mentioned in our offer that apply to the customer vehicle. The vehicle model as well as the year of construction and the device number must be checked by the customer himself. (See item description on our homepage, on eBay or on eBay Classifieds.)
Period of validity: The guarantee period begins on the date of the invoice and, depending on the service, is two years for unopened devices. The warranty period can be found in the item description. We do not repair any control units or other components if they are not in their original condition or if they have been opened. However, at the express request of the customer, we will repair the latter to the best of our knowledge. This requires the client's consent. In such a case we reserve the right not to grant or limit a guarantee on the device, its installation and proper functioning.

Warranty case procedure: The complaint must be submitted in writing or orally. In order to be able to assess in advance whether it is a guarantee service, the relevant component must be read out again by the customer and the error code incl. A copy of the invoice will be sent. After confirmation of the examination of the guarantee case, the device can be delivered to us and the guarantee can be claimed.
